If you are looking for a handsaw that can cut all sorts of different materials, this would be the one to choose. They have medium size teeth pitch, and you can cut timbers, green wood, and even plastic. They are not suited for cutting certain materials such as metals. Please check our indications for what you can cut with our all-purpose saws.
Our bamboo saws have special teeth edges for cutting bamboo fibers. Also since bamboos are hollow inside, special teeth with smaller teeth pitch for bamboo makes clean cuts. They are not ideal for cutting green wood, but you can use them to cut timbers and dead wood. If you are pruning bamboos, we recommend our bamboo saw with a sheath. If you would like to use them for both pruning and bamboo craft, we recommend our bamboo saw with a straight handle. If you'd like to use it only for bamboo crafts for intricate work, we recommend our Dozuki extra fine saws and Dozuki saws.
The teeth pitch increases as it gets towards the tip of the blade. With such characteristic, you can make smooth and easy cut to start with, and powerful cut as you start cutting with full strokes.
The teeth have sets, so it's suited for pruning.
Our Green wood pruning saws are more for pruning and landscaping. Our Pruning saws are more for pruning and felling in the forest by professionals.
Our fruit saws are ideal for pruning fruit trees.
Our Sentei saws do not have set. Saws with no set will give you cleaner cutting surface. It prevents damaging the tree. The blade is tapered, and it works just like a set, but it's not suited for cutting in vertical motion. We recommend Sentei saw for felling in the forest, especially for professionals, green wood saws for general pruning and landscaping, and fruit saws for fruit trees.
Fruit trees in farms have thin branches and trunks, because they are pruned every year. Our green wood saws and Sentei saws would shake these thin branches because they have large teeth.
Fruit saws have medium size teeth, and it prevents shaking branches while you prune. Our Megumi fruit saws were developed together with fruit farmers in Japan.
Our curved saws have no set, instead the blade is thick and tapered. You can make powerful cut with a curved blade. Just like our green wood saws, it's ideal for pruning general trees.

Our Dozuki extra fine saws have smallest teeth pitch, 1.0mm. Their structure is traditional style Dozuki in which the blade is firmly attached to the handle with a full back metal.
Its cutting width is smaller than that of Dozuki. We have three types of Dozuki saws. One is the standard Dozuki. The second one has wider blade, which let you cut timbers up to 6cm.
The third one is Tatebiki Noko Dozuki Style in which they have rip teeth. They are for both cross cutting and rip cutting.
Our woodworking saws are for carpentry work and DIY. We broadly categorize them in two groups, single edge woodworking saws and double edges woodworking saws. Our woodworking saws have small teeth pitch, which gives you cleaner cutting surface. Double edged saws have crosscut teeth on one side and rip teeth on the other. Our double edges saws Komame can be used as Dozuki saws.
Our double edges woodworking saws can be used for carpentry work and DIY. They have both rip teeth and crosscut teeth. Our woodworking saws have small teeth pitch,
which gives you cleaner cutting surface. Our double edges saws Komame can be used as Dozuki saws.
