Folding saw with a straight handle and a wide blade

Compared to our folding saw series, the handle is more straight and the blade is wider. They have extra fine teeth, so it's great for craft work and woodworking. Handle is made out of beech.

Blade length: 240mm
Dozuki Extra Fine: teeth pitch: 1.0mm
Dozuki: teeh pitch: 1.5mm
Woodworking: teeth pitch: 1.7mm
When folded, the length is 290mm.

The blade is long enough to make full strokes. It's small, and good for storage.

240mm long blade is easy to work with. The whole length is 535mm but when it's folded it's 290mm long. This is smaller than our 180mm series which is 390mm long.

Wide type

Unlike general folding saws, the blade is wider, so it's ideal for craft work and finishing work.

Automatic lock stopper

Easy to use. When you unfold the saw, stopper holds the blade firmly in its place. Do not touch the stopper except for when you fold the saw.

Wooden handle

Wooden handle made of beech, not painted.

You just need to remove one screw to replace a blade.

We use a tapping screw, so you only need to remove one screw for replacing a blade. *If you are having hard time taking the blade out, please loosen the pivot screw a little.

Dozuki Extra Fine

Easy storage! A saw with a straight handle that's for intricate work.

Dozuki saw that's 0.3mm thick and can be folded. Smallest teeth pitch, 1.0mm and ideal for intricate craft work. Long metal spline holds the blade firmly in its place.

Use

For precision woodworking, bamboo crafts, carpentry work, making furnitures, and making instruments.

Materials

General timber, Laminated wood, Bamboo material, Ply wood, MDF panel, Particle board (OSB), and Formica laminate.

  • Dozuki extra fine
    • Dozuki wide type can cut materials up to 60mm thick. Tatebiki Noko Dozuki Style can make both crosscuts and rip cuts.
  • Replaceable blade
    • By changing the blade, have cutting quality of a brand new saw. Item number of replacement blade is marked on the lower right side.
  • Folding saw
    • Blade can be folded into the handle. You can put them in your tool box.
  • Straight handle
    • Our saws with straight handles are mostly for indoor use. There are single edge saws and double edge saws.
  • Wood handle
    • Wooden handles are strong against humidity and dirt. Handle does not get slippery even if you sweat.
  • Special surface treatment
    • Surface of the blade is coated with nickel, and it prevents rusting.
  • Laser marking
    • Item number of replacement blade is marked on the blade , identifying which blade to purchase. Details are permanently marked by laser.
  • Impulse hardening
    • The surface of the blade is super hard but inside is flexible. They are strong against fruction and they last longer.

  • Crosscut blade
    • Crosscut saws cut wood fibers at certain width. If you use crosscut saw for making rip cut, you cannot make smooth and easy cuts.
  • Hijirime
    • Hijirime is making variation on the height of the teeth edges. It greatly improves cutting quality. Lower edges removes saw dust.
  • Teeth with sets
    • By putting sets on the teeth, it prevents the blade from being stuck in between the material.

Easy storage! With a curved tip, you can cut a hole on the surface.

Saiku saw with a blade that's 0.3mm thick. Using a curved tip, you can make a hole on the flat surface. The long back metal holds the blade firmly in its place.

Use

For carpentry work, wood crafts, bamboo crafts, making furnitures, and musical instruments.
