S series SELECT

SELECT series characteristics

There are two types of handle for S series. There are six different types of blades.
There are three sizes of blade length and there are eighteen items in total.

In addition to the saw itself, grip and sheath only are also available.

Grip

The body is made out of aluminum die casing. We use elastomer resin on the grip.
We designed a grip that's light and fits comfortably in your hand.

AL-S Grip

Grip is small so it doesn't get in your way while you work with it. The grip is specially designed so that people with smaller hand and less grip power can also use it.

AL-M Grip

We recommend AL-M grip for people who would like to make powerful cuts.

Changing a blade

By moving the knurled screw, embedded lock pin moves up and down and locks the blade onto the handle.
You can see the lock pin on the handle just under the screw.

Picture on the top shows the handle with the blade locked onto the handle. Please make sure to see if the lock is completely inside the handle and not visible before you start using the saw.

Picture on the bottom shows the handle with the lock open. Lock pin is visible under the screw. You can replace a blade when the lock pin is out of the handle like this.

Strap hole on the handle.

There is a small hole for you to put the strap. Putting a strap string on the handle prevents dropping the saw from high places.

Automatic Lock Case

By just putting the saw in the sheath, saw is locked.
This prevents the saw from falling out of the sheath.

Just like in the picture, you can easily take the blade out by pushing the yellow stopper with your index finger and pulling the blade out.

There are two ways in which you can carry the saw with you.

There is a belt hole and a hook on the sheath for you to put it on a belt. You can easily put it on and carry the saw around with you.

Saw dust hole

The tip of the sheath is open.
This way it prevents saw dust from building up inside the sheath.
Dust comes out from the sheath just by putting the saw back in the case.

RAZORSAW SELECT 200 Green Wood

Smooth cut to start, and powerful cut as you start cutting with full strokes.

Great for landscaping. With crosscut teeth and increasing teeth pitch, you can cut aggressively. Great for pruning fruit trees and green wood. You can put the saw with a sheath on your belt.

Use

For landscaping, forestry work, pruning fruit trees, and timberman's.

    • Tip of the blade has bigger teeth pitch. The size of the teeth becomes smaller as it gets closer to the handle.
  • With some rip teeth
    • They have rip teeth every certain number of crosscut teeth. It improves cutting quality.
  • Crosscut blade
    • Crosscut saws cut wood fibers at certain width. If you use crosscut saw for making rip cut, you cannot make smooth and easy cuts.
  • Hijirime
    • Hijirime is making variation on the height of the teeth edges. It greatly improves cutting quality. Lower edges removes saw dust.
  • Teeth with sets
    • By putting sets on the teeth, it prevents the blade from being stuck in between the material.
