How to replace a blade.

Straight handle, Single edge, and Double edge types

180 Series

1. Unscrew the winding crown in the direction opposite to the direction of an arrow.
2. Pull out a back metal and a blade.
3. Insert a spare blade in the back metal.
4. Tighten the winding crown to the direction of the LOCK.

EVAGRIP

1. Unscrew the winding crown in the direction opposite to the direction of the arrow.
2. Pull out a back metal and a blade.
3. Insert a spare blade in the back metal.
4. Tighten the winding crown to the direction of the LOCK.

Rattan handle

1. Turn the screw to the direction of an arrow four times.
2. Pull out a back metal and a saw blade.
3. Insert a spare blade in the back metal.
4. Tighten the screw to the opposite directon of an arrow.

Double edge saws

1. Turn the screw three times. Do not take out the screw.
2. Hold the screw with your thumb and hold the upper part of the blade.
3. Pull the blade out slowly.
4. Hold the screw and insert a new blade.
5. Tighten a screw so that the blade is firmly attached to the handle.

Caution

Check and see if the screw is tight and the blade is firmly attached to the handle. Wear gloves when changing the blade. Never hold the serration on the blade. Make sure there is no metal parts such as nails in the material you are going to cut. No extra pressure is required when cutting. Do not cut anything that's not applicable.

L series/ Fugaku series

L series/ Fugaku series

1. Untighten the screw using a coin and take the screw out.
2. Take out a blade from the handle.
3. Put a new blade.
4. Put the screw back and tighten it.

TAKEHIKI NOKO

1. Take out screw A and B using a coin.
2. Pull a blade out from the grip.
3. Insert a new spare blade in a grip.
4. Put screw A back before you put screw B.
5. Tighten both screw A and B.

ANZENKARIWAKU

1. Take out screw A and B using a coin.
2. Pull a blade out from a grip.
3. Put the new blade back in the handle.
4. Put screw A back before you put screw B.
5. Tighten both screw A and B.

SUPER KENRYU

1. Take out screw A and B using a coin.
2. Take the blade out from the grip.
3. Attach a new blade to the handle.
4. Put screw A back before you put screw B.
5. Tighten both screw A and B.

Caution

Check and see if the screw is tight and the blade is firmly attached to the handle. Wear gloves when changing the blade. Never hold the serration on the blade. Make sure there is no metal parts such as nails in the material you are going to cut. No extra pressure is required when cutting. Do not cut anything that's not applicable.

SELECT, EG, the Recycle series

AL-S grip

1. Unscrew the winding crown in the direction opposite to the direction of an arrow.
2. Pull the blade out.
3. Insert a spare blade in the handle.
4. Tighten the winding crown to the direction of the LOCK.

AL-M grip

1. Unscrew the winding crown in the direction opposite to the direction of an arrow.
2. Pull the blade out.
3. Insert a spare blade in the grip.
4. Tighten the winding crown to the direction of the LOCK.

EG grip

1. Hold the cover and unlock the screw.
2. Take the cover out with the screw and then take the blade out.
3. Put the new blade and put the cover back on.
4. Hold the cover and the blade firmly and tighten the screw.

Caution

Check and see if the screw is tight and the blade is firmly attached to the handle. Wear gloves when changing the blade. Never hold the serration on the blade. Make sure there is no metal parts such as nails in the material you are going to cut. No extra pressure is required when cutting. Do not cut anything that's not applicable.

MEGUMI series

With a sheath

1. Untighten the screw all the way so that the tip of the screw comes out of the grip.
2. Take the blade out from the handle.
3. Put the new blade back on the handle.
4. Tighten the screw all the way so that the tip of the screw goes back inside the handle.

Folding saws

1. Loosen the screw on the blade and take the blade out.
2. Put the blade back on the handle.
3. Put the screw and nut back and tighten it.

* Please check to make sure that the blade is firmly attached.

Folding saws

By turning the screw to the direction of ①, the blade bends towards A. With this angle, you can make powerful cut.

By turning the screw to the direction of ②, the blade opens to the direction of B. With this angle, there is not much resistance when you prune branches. Branches will not shake as much.

Caution

Folding saws

Razorsaw Folding Saw Series

1. Untighten a screw A with a coin.
2. Take out screw B and also take out the blade.
3. Put the blade back in and put the screw B.
4. Tighten and adjust screw A so that the blade folds and opens smoothly.

ORIZURU03 Series

1.Unscrew the screw on the metal spine.
2. Hold the metal spine and pull the blade out.
(If the blade is stuck and does not seem to come out easily, loosen the pivot screw.)
3. Slide a replacement blade into the metal spine. Adjust the screw hole, insert the screw, and tighten it until it's firmly in place.
4. Adjust the pivot screw, for smooth rotation.

ORIZURU06 Series

1.Unscrew the screw on the metal spine.
2. Hold the metal spine and pull the blade out.
(If the blade is stuck and does not seem to come out easily, loosen the pivot screw.)
3. Slide a replacement blade into the metal spine. Adjust the screw hole, insert the screw, and tighten it until it's firmly in place.
4. Adjust the pivot screw for smooth rotation.
